We were very saddened to hear of the untimely death of Bob Neal, who passed away on Tuesday 22nd December 2009.

Bob had been a long-standing member of DWASC until recently and had been one of the people most enthusiastic about developing a 'Real Estate' fund for purchasing land for the benefit of members of the club. Therefore, it is poignant that DWASC completed its acquisition of North Meadow, East Burton, Wool on that same Tuesday. It is hoped that when members visit North Meadow, their visit there will remind them of the good times they may have been fortunate to share with Bob in the field, on clay shoots etc and how the efforts of people like Bob made its acquisition a reality.
